Torico Morzine - Bike Hire and Rental in Morzine

We’ll be acting as a meeting place for people wanting to join groups of likeminded riders to hit the trails and discover something new together. Each ride will have a volunteer ride leader who knows the way. The rides will take place on an ad-hoc basis, so look out for details online and in the shop. We hope to organise at least two rides a week.

The best bit: as the ride leader will be a volunteer, you don’t have to pay a penny. As a volunteer, the ride leader can accept donations for his/her costs for the day - i.e. Lunch, lift pass etc. Or perhaps a thank-you beer at the end. But none of this is expected.

It is the ride leaders responsibility to ensure the safety of the group. By partaking in the rides, you acknowledge the fact that where you go, and what you do is between you and the ride leader. Torico Morzine is a meeting place for the rides, but is in no way responsible for what happens on the rides. Ride leaders may or may not be owners or employees of Torico Morzine, they will lead the group rides on a purely volunteer basis during their free time. They are not paid or otherwise remunerated for their volunteering. Ride leaders may or may not have qualifications that may or may not be legally recognised in France. As a volunteer, no qualification is necessary to lead a ride. However, responsibility will be placed upon the ride leader in the event of any accidents or other such event. it will be the ride leaders responsibility to ensure that they are happy with this and have any insurance that they deem necessary.
